Job summary

Byrum Heating & AC, a NearU Company, is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Lead Installer to lead and deliver commercial installation projects from start to finish. You will mentor Install Helpers and Apprentices while ensuring quality, safety, and timeliness on each site.

You will read blueprints, coordinate with customers and project managers, and oversee startups, testing, and final inspections. This role offers growth within the NearU network and a hands-on leadership path.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial or residential HVAC installation experience.
• EPA Certification (required).
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work on rooftops, in mechanical rooms, attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments.
• Strong leadership, safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial HVAC installation projects from kickoff to final startup.
• Install/replace rooftop units, split systems, furnaces, heat pumps, ACs, and duct systems.
• Read blueprints and installation plans to keep projects on schedule.
• Coach and develop Install Helpers and Apprentice Installers.
• Verify airflow, refrigerant charge, electrical connections, and system performance.
