Job summary

CT Mechanical is seeking an experienced Mechanical Foreman to lead field crews on commercial HVAC projects. You will run the full mechanical scope on site, including ductwork, refrigerant and hydronic piping, and equipment installation. You will keep the job safe, on schedule, and built to code and CT Mechanical standards.

This role requires strong hands-on HVAC knowledge and the ability to lead a crew, coordinate with other trades, and ensure quality workmanship on every stage of the project.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in commercial HVAC/mechanical construction with crew leadership.
• Ability to read and understand commercial mechanical blueprints.
• OSHA 10 certification is required; OSHA 30 is preferred.
• EPA 608 certification preferred.
• Brazing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews on commercial HVAC projects on site.
• Oversee ductwork, refrigerant piping, and HVAC equipment installation.
• Maintain safety, schedule, and code compliance on job sites.
• Read construction documents and coordinate with electrical, plumbing, and controls.
• Plan daily work, assign tasks, and manage journeymen and apprentices.
• Oversee installation and testing of HVAC equipment (RTUs, AHUs, VAVs, etc.).
• Enter time and manage equipment and material deliveries.
