Job summary
Central Mechanical Services LLC is seeking a Senior Commercial HVAC Technician to lead diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work on commercial HVAC/R systems in Phoenix, AZ. You will handle chillers, boilers, hydronics, and controls, mentoring junior techs and delivering high-quality service on-site.
The role requires EPA 608 certification, a valid driver’s license, and strong leadership with excellent client-facing communication. Competitive compensation includes benefits and a performance bonus.
Qualifications
- EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required.
- Valid driver's license with clean record.
- Strong leadership and customer-facing skills.
- Ability to diagnose and repair commercial HVAC equipment.
- Experience reading electrical schematics and hydronic blueprints.
Responsibilities
- Lead diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC systems including chillers and boilers.
- Troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, and combustion issues using wiring diagrams.
- Optimize VFDs, AHU, pumps, and control systems for performance.
- Act as onsite technical representative communicating with facility managers.
- Mentor junior technicians to improve safety and workmanship.
- Document findings and recommended system solutions accurately.
