Job summary

Corporate Air Mechanical Services Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking experienced Commercial Chiller Service Technicians to join our growing team.

You’ll diagnose and service large-tonnage chillers, work with chillers, cooling towers, RTUs and BMS, and lead on complex diagnostics while mentoring junior techs and upholding safety. Enjoy a competitive pay and strong benefits package with company vehicle and PTO.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands-on commercial and/or industrial chiller experience.
• EPA Type II Certification required; NATE and factory training on major equipment brands are highly preferred.
• Deep knowledge of electrical schematics, refrigerant handling, brazing/welding, and computerized chiller/HVAC software/controls.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose large-tonnage chillers, lead complex diagnostics, installations, and repairs on large-scale systems.
• Advanced diagnostics & repair of cooling towers/pumps/motors and related HVAC equipment.
• Leadership & mentorship: oversee junior technicians and ensure safety standards.
• Preventive maintenance: manage central plant operations to maximize uptime and energy efficiency.
• Client communication: explain repairs, provide quotes, and recommend system upgrades.
• Represent CAMS with professionalism on every job.
