Job summary

Interstate Mechanical LLC in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Chiller Technician to diagnose, service and repair commercial chillers and related systems. You will perform maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration and controls, and document findings for customers and internal teams.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years HVAC experience, 2+ years chillers, and EPA Universal Certification. A valid license and a safe driving record are required. Competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC service experience.
Minimum 2 years servicing chillers preferred.
Read electrical schematics and equipment documentation.
EPA Universal Certification is required.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Strong troubleshooting, communication and documentation skills.
Manufacturer-specific chiller training valued.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, service and repair commercial chillers and related equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service on chiller systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, refrigeration and controls issues.
Repair or replace compressors, motors, pumps, valves and components.
Evaluate system performance and suggest improvements.
Document findings and communicate with customers and team members.
Coordinate with Dispatch and other technicians as needed.
Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicle.
