Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• Strong control wiring, low-voltage circuits & control logic.
• Proficient in commercial air balancing.
• Able to read mechanical drawings and control diagrams.
• EPA 608 Certification (Type II or Universal).
• Excellent troubleshooting and independent work ethic.
• Effective client communication.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable to drive.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, commission, and optimize commercial HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical components.
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, ladder logic, and sequence-of-operation documentation.
• Ensure work meets local codes, safety regulations, and manufacturer specifications.
• Provide recommendations for controls upgrades and energy-efficiency improvements.
• Communicate technical findings clearly to facility managers and clients.
