Job summary

FPC Construction is seeking a Commercial Flooring Project Manager to lead large, complex flooring projects in GA, from turnover through closeout. The role requires experience with technical drawings and estimating capabilities, and a proven ability to manage budgets and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience with RFMS Measure preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, draw, and revise flooring plans.
• Strong understanding of architectural drawings, specifications, details, and finish schedules.
• Experience managing large and technically complex projects.
• Has existing relationships and the ability to recruit and maintain their subcontract labor roster with seasoned, proven flooring installers.
• Knowledge of commercial flooring installation standards and the ability to evaluate workmanship and installation quality.

Responsibilities

• Full ownership of project financial performance, including budgets, revenue, costs, gross profit, and project-level profit-and-loss reporting.
• Ability to track earnings, forecast financial results, and clearly explain project wins, losses, and margin variances.
• Experience negotiating material pricing, subcontractor rates, and other project-related costs.
• Ability to build strong client relationships and help attract and retain business.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
