Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Commercial Flooring Project Manager to lead projects from pre‑construction through completion in the Dallas, TX area. The role requires coordinating customers, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and field crews to deliver high‑quality flooring installations on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of flooring systems, strong project-management skills and a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial flooring project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial flooring products and installation methods.
• Experience with general contractors and commercial construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, plans and specs.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, purchasing and cost control skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial flooring projects from estimating handoff through final completion.
• Review plans, specifications, scopes of work and schedules.
• Coordinate materials, deliveries, installers, subcontractors and job-site activities.
• Communicate with general contractors, owners, architects, vendors and internal teams.
• Monitor budgets, costs, change orders and profitability.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules and track milestones.
• Conduct job-site meetings and project walkthroughs.
• Identify issues and develop timely solutions.
• Ensure installations meet contract specs and quality standards.
• Review measurements, quantities, material requirements and installation details.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, punch lists and closeout docs.
