We’re seeking a seasoned Lead Estimator to anchor our Charlotte Division’s preconstruction efforts. This is a pivotal leadership role for an experienced professional who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment and is eager to make a significant impact on high-value commercial construction projects.

Your Role

As Lead Estimator, you will:

• Own the Estimating Process – Lead all takeoff and bid efforts for the Charlotte Division, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and profitability.

• Leverage Your Expertise – Provide detailed estimates for complex commercial projects exceeding $1M+ in value.

• Utilize OST & Quick Bid – Proficiency in On-Screen Takeoff (OST) and Quick Bid (QB) is a must for this role.

• Drive Preconstruction Success – Manage estimates from initial concept through project handoff, collaborating with preconstruction, operations, and executive teams.

• Review Contracts & Build Partnerships – Maintain relationships with leading General Contractors and ensure all contract reviews align with company standards and goals.

What You Bring

• Minimum 5 years of commercial construction estimating experience

• Proven success estimating large-scale projects ($1MM+)

• Expert in OST and QB platforms

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to mentor junior estimators and interface with executive leadership

• Reputation for detail-oriented, deadline-driven work
