D&L Electric Company, Inc is a premier family-owned electrical contractor specializing in commercial electrical and control systems. The Journeyman Electrician role places you on job sites across Houston, leading apprentices and assisting the Foreman to deliver safe, high-quality installations.
You will read blueprints, wire and install panels, conduit, and control components while adhering to NEC standards.
Qualifications
- Active Texas Journeyman Electrician License.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Able to read electrical blueprints, single-line diagrams, and schematics.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret commercial electrical blueprints per NEC and standards.
- Lead Foremen and direct Apprentice Electricians on site.
- Install underground PVC conduit and manage trenching, backfilling.
- Bend and route EMT conduit for complex fittings.
- Route, pull fish tapes and feeders from #12 AWG to 750 KCMIL.
- Terminate main distribution panels, transformers, and disconnects.
- Wire and install line-voltage devices and low-voltage lighting controls.
- Perform high-elevation work safely from ladders and MEWPs.
