Job summary

Precision Walls, Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial Drywall Foreman to lead field operations on-site.

You will preplan, organize, track and audit daily activities, labor and progress reports across commercial drywall projects, coordinating with general contractors and subcontractors to maintain safety and quality. The role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills, with at least five years in commercial drywall and proficiency with tablets/mobile devices for

Qualifications

• Understand drywall and ceiling industry materials and methods; willing to learn.
• Excellent organizational skills – sequences & order.
• Quality control and material management skills.
• Exhibits high attention to detail.
• Documentation skills: Daily reports, time cards, work orders, RFIs.
• Punctuality and attendance.
• Reliable transportation.
• Computer and technology savvy (Tablets, mobile phones, etc.).
• Bilingual is a plus (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Must have five (5) years of commercial drywall experience.
• Promote a positive attitude and proactive problem solving.
• Communicate clearly with General Contractors and customers.
• Oversee multiple projects and maintain high standards.
• Prepare all job progress reports: completion, material usage, labor, issues.
• Report to General Superintendent or Superintendents.
• Communicate an organized execution plan for the workforce.
• Manage workforce through evaluation, placement, monitoring and performance.
• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following procedures.
• Report material/tool/staff shortages and issues with other trades affecting progress.
• Ensure time sheets are accurate and timely.
• Verify subcontractor personnel are signed in and on assignments.
• Coordinate with subcontractor supervisors to avoid co-employer issues.
• Work safely and act to prevent hazards.
• Other duties as assigned.
