Job summary

Ironmark Building Co. is seeking a commercial construction Superintendent to lead all field operations on a major project in Flagstaff, AZ. The ideal candidate will oversee budget, schedule, and performance, ensuring quality, safety, and on-time delivery.

You will coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and trades; supervise field teams; maintain project drawings and RFIs; and develop site-specific safety plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years Superintendent experience in ground up, wood frame, commercial construction.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Working knowledge of preferred construction management software, Microsoft Project and Procore
• OSHA Training, CPR/First Aid Certification, and LEED training encouraged
• Excellent leadership skills
• Ability to communicate proactively and effectively, be customer focused, and display a high level of professionalism, honesty, and integrity
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and access to a vehicle

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all field construction activities on a major project located in Flagstaff, AZ. You’ll be responsible for all field aspects of the project’s budget, schedule, and general performance.
• The successful Lead Superintendent will communicate and interact with owners, architects, engineers, government officials, and the public in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
• Develop, maintain, and execute the project plan as laid out by the Project Manager and yourself.
• Supervise and coordinate all construction activities.
• Supervise, direct, coach, and train Assistant Superintendents, Ironmark’s General Laborers, and Field Interns.
• Create site specific plans and procedures that adhere to safety and record keeping requirements and Ironmark’s Safety Program to ensure a safe work environment.
