This role coordinates with the project team to ensure safety, schedule, and budget adherence while managing subcontractors and communicating with owners. The candidate should have 5+ years in commercial/industrial construction, strong communication skills, and a degree in construction management or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial or industrial construction as a superintendent.
• Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of MS Office applications including Microsoft Project
• Familiarity with construction project management software Procore is required
• Able to read blueprints
• Advanced knowledge of commercial and industrial construction
• Strong written and verbal communication skills that align with core values
• Bachelor’s degree in construction science & management or related field is preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain client satisfaction on assigned project(s)
• Participate in project reviews with Preconstruction Team on assigned project(s)
• Participate in project turnover meetings from Preconstruction Team to Project Team
• Develop the Project Execution Plan with the Project Manager
• Develop and finalize the Site Logistics Plan with the Project Manager
• Develop and finalize the Project Schedule with the Project Manager
• Maintain Project Schedule and develop recovery plans to meet commitment dates with the Project Manager
• Enforce and maintain the site-specific safety & quality requirements
• Review all RFIs prior to submission by the Project Manager
• Comment on submittals before approvals
• Lead and document weekly subcontractor coordination meetings
• Maintain project budget and assist PM with budget overruns
• Adhere to contract terms and conditions
• Ensure regular project photos and daily reports in Procore
• Maintain open communications and be main point of contact for Owner and Subcontractors
• Communicate project constraints, impacts, delays to PM
• Manage change events and ensure documentation before proceeding with changed scope
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors to their scope of work
• Coordinate and attend required inspections with AHJ
• Issue non-conformance reports to subcontractors with deficient work
• Maintain a clean project site at all times
• Identify and manage completion of all punch list items
• Generate monthly progress and executive summary reports
• Generate weekly project update reports with PM
