Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager for commercial projects in Lexington, Kentucky. The role will coordinate trade partners, manage schedules, budgets, and safety programs to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have at least six years of construction management experience, a related bachelor’s degree, and strong communication skills. Proficiency with MS Office and Gray software is required for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Six years of construction management experience.
• Experience managing PM I level projects or two PM I projects.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Gray-provided software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interrelating activities of trade partners, suppliers, vendors, design and engineering efforts.
• Lead organizational, leadership, communication, management, and problem-solving on the project(s).
• Monitor and report financial status; administer subcontract and contracts.
• Develop and maintain project progress schedules to align construction with the schedule.
• Procure and monitor delivery of materials; ensure price, quality and conformance.
• Negotiate contracts with trade partners and vendors; manage scope and risk.
• Review payment requests and change orders; ensure timely processing.
• Ensure design, procurement and construction comply with guidelines and customer requirements.
