Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager for Lexington, Kentucky, overseeing commercial projects from design through completion. The role emphasizes leadership, coordination across trade partners, and strict adherence to schedules and budgets.

The candidate will work with design and engineering teams to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction on complex commercial facilities. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Qualifications

Six+ years of experience in construction management.
Experience supporting projects in a Project Manager I role or equivalent.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate activities of trade partners, suppliers, vendors, design and engineering efforts.
Monitor and report financial status and manage subcontract/contract administration.
Develop and maintain project schedules to align construction with planned timelines.
Procure materials and manage supplier relationships for cost and quality.
Review shop drawings and submittals for scope compliance.
Prepare and present project reports (progress, schedules, billings).
Ensure safety and quality programs are implemented on site.
