Job summary

Gray Construction is seeking a Project Manager with Commercial Construction experience to lead complex retail and commercial projects based in Issaquah, WA, or Lexington, KY.

You will coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules and budgets, review shop drawings, and ensure safety and quality on site in a hybrid work model.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of construction management experience and a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years of experience in construction management.
• Experience as the lead project manager of a construction project.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interrelating activities of subcontractors, suppliers, vendors and customers, design and engineering efforts.
• Monitor and report on the financial status of the project(s) and administer subcontract and contracts.
• Develop job progress schedules to ensure construction aligns with the schedule.
• Purchase and monitor delivery of materials, ensuring price, quality and conformance to specs.
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors; manage changes and payments.
• Prepare reports (monthly accounting, progress/schedules, billings, status).
• Ensure safety and quality programs on site and maintain project documentation.
