Job summary

Datrose is seeking a Commercial Construction Foreman in Elkton, MD to lead field operations for a busy concrete contractor. You will supervise crews, read construction documents, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to high quality standards.

The role requires hands-on construction knowledge, leadership ability, and coordination with subcontractors and project management. Salary range $100K-$120K, direct hire, on-site position.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial concrete construction experience.
• Proven leadership experience as a foreman or lead.
• Ability to read and understand construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of field crew.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Schedule and manage labor, equipment, and materials efficiently.
• Communicate progress, issues, and needs with project managers and leadership.
• Train and mentor crew members to maintain high performance and safety standards.
• Conduct daily jobsite safety meetings and enforce OSHA compliance.
• Monitor quality control and ensure work meets project specifications.
