Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Lead Cable Technician to support commercial low-voltage and structured cabling projects throughout Nashville and Middle Tennessee. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity paying $20-$25/hour with strong career growth opportunities.

You will lead cabling installations, pull and route CAT5e/CAT6 cabling, perform terminations, read blueprints, and ensure projects are completed safely and to quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial structured cabling experience.
• Previous lead or crew leadership experience preferred.
• Experience pulling, terminating, and testing copper cabling.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow project plans.
• Comfortable working on active commercial construction sites.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead cabling installations on commercial projects.
