TEKsystems is seeking Data Center Cable Technicians for contract roles in Hendersonville, TN. Responsibilities include pulling and routing copper and fiber cabling, installing cable support systems, and assisting with rack installations in a large-scale data center environment.

Qualified candidates have experience in structured cabling, data centers, and low voltage work, and can lift up to 50 pounds while working safely with tools in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in structured cabling and data center environments.
• Background in electrical or low voltage installation is preferred.
• Able to read blueprints and install cabling per standards.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and work on a team.

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, and secure copper and fiber cabling.
• Install cable tray, ladder rack, and support systems.
• Assist with rack and cabinet installations.
• Support network infrastructure installations and upgrades.
• Read and interpret blueprints and installation docs.
• Label and organize cabling per project standards.
• Follow safety procedures and site requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with team to meet milestones.
