Job summary

Fidelity Manufacturing in McGregor, Texas, is seeking a Lead Combi-Lift / Straddle Carrier Operator to safely move tanks, enclosures, and fabricated parts across the plant and yard. The incumbent will act as the facility's subject matter expert on equipment operation, rigging, and load handling.

The role includes developing training programs, coaching future operators, and establishing standardized work practices to uphold safety, quality, and efficiency as the Texas plant scales up operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment.
• Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of load‑handling procedures and safety practices.
• Ability to coach and mentor other employees.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good situational awareness and risk assessment.
• Background check and pre‑employment drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Combi‑Lift and Straddle Carrier equipment.
• Transport tanks, enclosures, and finished products throughout facility and yard.
• Load, unload, position, and relocate oversized structures.
• Support production schedules with timely movement of materials.
• Ensure proper load securing and weight distribution.
• Conduct pre‑shift inspections and report equipment issues.
• Train and coach new operators on procedures and safety.
• Maintain safe staging, storage, and work areas.
