Job summary

Freeman Enclosure Systems in Batavia, Ohio is seeking an experienced Combi-Lift Driver to support logistics and manufacturing. You will safely operate multi-directional Combi-Lift forklifts to move long materials, load/unload from trucks, and ensure timely delivery to production areas.

The role requires a minimum 1 year of material handling or forklift experience, with preference for Combi-Lift experience. A valid forklift certification is expected, and a strong safety mindset is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid forklift operator certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of material handling, warehouse, or forklift experience.
• Previous Combi-Lift or multi-directional forklift experience strongly preferred.
• Experience handling long, bulky, oversized, or difficult-to-maneuver materials is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, material instructions, and safety guidelines.
• Ability to read a tape measure; testing will be required.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate multi-directional Combi-Lift forklifts to safely transport long and bulky materials throughout the facility.
• Move materials such as steel panels, enclosures, and other large materials between storage, staging, and production areas.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, storage areas, and production locations.
• Properly secure, position, and handle materials to prevent damage to products, equipment, and facilities.
• Deliver materials to production areas according to work orders and production requirements.
• Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and production teams to respond to material requests promptly.
• Inspect forklift and equipment before operation and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain awareness of pedestrians, other equipment, overhead obstructions, and changing work conditions.
• Follow proper material-handling procedures and maintain organized storage areas.
• Complete required paperwork, work orders, or material movement documentation accurately.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and established operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
