We are open seven days a week and have become the it place for your weekend brunch. We focus on finding gourmet ingredients, carefully curated and fresh. These ingredients make every item on our menu taste fresh and flavorful.

We have locations in West Boca, Coral Gables, Davie, Downtown Doral, Brickell, Downtown Miami, Miami Beach, South Beach, and Hallandale, and seven new locations are opening this year.

JOB SUMMARY:

As the “Lead Coffee Barista” at Crema Gourmet, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our customers' coffee experiences. You will lead a team of skilled baristas, ensuring the highest standards of quality, customer service, and efficiency are maintained. Your passion for coffee, leadership skills, and commitment to excellence will contribute to the continued success and growth of Crema Gourmet.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and inspire a team of baristas, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Conduct training sessions for new hires and ongoing development for existing team members.
• Oversee the coffee preparation process to ensure consistent quality in every cup.
• Conduct regular tastings and provide constructive feedback to maintain high beverage standards.
• Model and promote exceptional customer service to create a welcoming and memorable experience for patrons.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the team to implement strategies for enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and manage Illy Coffee inventory, ensuring freshness and availability.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a lead barista or similar role in a high-volume coffee establishment.
• Working knowledge of coffee equipment, coffee varieties, and brewing techniques such as steaming milk, and creating latte art.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a cafe or restaurant setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a diverse team and interact with customers.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle various responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Barista or coffee-related certifications are a plus.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
