Job summary

V&E Hospitality Group in Miami Beach is looking for an energetic barista to join our fast-paced coffee team. You’ll maintain espresso quality, assist guests with Cortadito and seasonal lattes, and thrive during morning rushes.

• 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced coffee shop or hospitality environment.

• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30lbs.

Responsibilities

• Dial It In: Maintain espresso quality throughout the shift by adjusting grind and dose as needed.
• Latte Art & Prep: Steam silky micro foam and create latte art as required.
• Guest Education: Help guests navigate the menu, including Cortadito and seasonal lattes.
• Efficiency: Manage high-volume rushes with speed and precision while meeting standards.
• Maintenance: Keep station and espresso machine clean and in good condition.

What You’ll Do

Dial It In:

Maintain the quality of our espresso throughout the shift, adjusting grind and dose as needed for the perfect shot.

Latte Art & Prep:

Steam silky micro foam for traditional and specialty drinks (latte art skills are a huge plus!).

Guest Education:

Help our guests navigate the menu, from a classic Cortadito to our seasonal specialty lattes.

Efficiency:

Manage high-volume rushes with speed and precision, ensuring every drink meets our standards.

Maintenance:

Keep your station and espresso machinepristine—a clean bar is a happy bar.
