JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Cafe Team Leader. As the "Team Leader", you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operations of our cafe, leading a team of enthusiastic individuals, and delivering exceptional customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for the hospitality industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise and lead a team of cafe staff, including baristas, servers, and cashiers.
• Provide clear instructions, delegate tasks, and ensure effective communication within the team.
• Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high service standards.
• Train and coach team members to provide friendly and efficient service to customers.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction, in the absence of a manager.
• Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
• Conduct training sessions for new hires and refresher training for existing staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A high school diploma or general education degree (or equivalent) is required.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a cafe or restaurant setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a diverse team and interact with customers.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle various responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of customer service and cafe operations, including food and beverage preparation, and health and safety protocols.
• Customer‑centric mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
