Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years coding experience in a high-volume setting.
• Previous supervisor experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the manager in ensuring compliance with CMS regulations and coding guidelines.
• Supervise coding staff for day-to-day operations and training.
• Review revenue cycle workflows including coding, audits, and denials.
• Provide analysis on productivity and impact of coding activities.
• Organize staff training and new hire onboarding.
• Support departmental reporting requirements and special projects.
• Collaborate with PFS to implement corrections for denials and inquiries.
