Responsibilities

• Lead professional billing, coding, charge capture and Epic work queue operations ensuring accurate claims and revenue cycle performance.
• Supervise and develop coding staff establishing productivity, quality and compliance standards.
• Direct multi-specialty coding activities ensuring CPT/ICD-10-CM/HCPCS accuracy per CMS and payer guidelines.
• Manage coding quality assurance programs, audits and performance reviews to identify deficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Serve as primary coding and compliance SME, advising physicians and staff on regulatory updates and reimbursement requirements.
• Collaborate with clinicians and revenue cycle stakeholders to improve documentation, coding accuracy and financial performance.
• Oversee denial management by analyzing root causes and reducing revenue leakage.
