Job summary

Valley Health System in Las Vegas is seeking a Regional Coding Liaison to support the CBO and coding teams. You will ensure timely processing of requests and resolution of issues affecting account releases.

The role requires at least three years of acute care coding experience (inpatient and outpatient), CCS credential, and proficiency with ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, and the listed health information systems. On-site position.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; higher education preferred.
• Minimum three years coding in acute care; inpatient and outpatient.
• Proficient with ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT coding.
• CCS required; RHIA or RHIT preferred.
• Must handle highly confidential material.

Responsibilities

• Assist Regional Coding Manager as liaison between coders and CBO.
• Ensure accounts are released timely and address concerns for resolution.
