Job summary

ECU Health seeks a Team Lead Code Edit Analysis to provide operational leadership, expert coding guidance, and oversight of the Code Edit Analyst team. You will ensure accurate ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and modifiers, while driving audits, training, and performance tracking aligned with CMS guidelines.

You will collaborate with Billing, CDI, Compliance, and Revenue Cycle Leadership to optimize denials reduction, revenue integrity, and payer compliance in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with extensive auditing experience; coding certificate may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Lead Code Edit Analysts to meet productivity and quality KPIs.
• Perform advanced coding reviews and ensure Medicare/commercial payer compliance.
• Monitor denials trends and drive corrective actions.
• Provide onboarding and ongoing training on CMS updates and payer requirements.
• Coordinate with Billing, CDI, Compliance and Revenue Cycle leadership.
