Job summary

solidcore is seeking a Head Coach in Portland, OR who will lead the studio's coaching team, deliver a best-in-class fitness and customer experience, and maintain a full schedule of 11 classes per week while upholding brand standards.

You will develop coaches, provide feedback, support new trainer trainings in-studio, manage day-to-day operations with the Area Manager, and lead community outreach to grow the client base.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years prior group fitness experience.
• Ability to lift / carry a minimum of 30 pounds.
• Proficiency in G-Suite and MS Office, specifically Excel and Google Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the studio’s lead coach with a full schedule of 11 classes per week.
• Set expectations for new and existing coaches and lead by example.
• Deliver a best-in-class fitness and customer service experience aligned with solidcore standards.
• Meet utilization and retention goals for the studio and individuals.
• Assist Day-to-day operations as directed by the Area Manager.
• Lead outreach and marketing efforts to scout new clients and build community partnerships.
• Provide coach development and feedback to the coaching team, supporting trainings in-studio.
• Respond to client requests promptly and resolve concerns effectively.
• Maintain product knowledge for studio retail, including class packages and promotions.
• Handle routine operational tasks such as ordering supplies, inventory, and sales logs.
• Ensure studio and equipment remain clean and functional.
