Insight Global in California is seeking a highly skilled CNC programmer to lead the programming team and drive continuous improvement in aerospace/manufacturing operations. You will translate design criteria into machine instructions for three-axis and multi-axis CNC equipment.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of CNC programming experience in aerospace/manufacturing
• 2+ years of CNC Lathe, Mill, or Wire EDM (3+ axis)
• 3+ years of experience with Mastercam, SolidWorks, ESPRIT, Delcam and/or Vericut
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Responsabilidades

• Perform CNC programming for production equipment by translating product design criteria into machine requirements.
• Develop complex or revised non-standard CNC programs for CNC lathes, mills, or EDM machines (3 axes+).
• Use SolidWorks, ESPRIT, Delcam and Vericut to model components and program CNC machines to minimize crashes and downtime and improve productivity.
• Design fixtures, tools, jigs, and equipment for CNC applications.
• Conduct tooling and program design reviews to reduce cost and cycle times while increasing first pass yield.
• Prepare shop process manuals and supervise process validation of new programs.
• Assist in training operators on new CNC equipment and programs.
• Communicate with manufacturing engineers, development engineers, plant personnel and external partners.
• Lead efforts with new machines/software and document developments within the department.
• Review defects from machining to drive corrective actions for quality and safety.
• Maintain a continuous improvement attitude for current and future CNC programs and processes.
