Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a CNC Machinist.
Proficiency in CNC programming and operation.
Proficient with generating 2D and 3D cutter paths using Mastercam.
Strong knowledge of machining techniques and equipment.
Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting tooling issues.

Responsibilities

Writes and optimizes CNC programs to produce tooling, fixtures, and components based on engineering drawings and specifications.
Uses MasterCam to generate effective 2D and 3D cutter paths.
Programs CNC Mill or Lathe manually using G&M code.
Creates probing routines to establish home positions, part alignment, and part dimensional inspection.
Sets up CNC machines, including loading materials, selecting cutting tools, and configuring machine settings.
Operates CNC machines to produce high-precision components and monitors the process for accuracy.
Inspects finished components to ensure they meet quality standards and engineering tolerances.
Collaborates with engineers and team members to understand project requirements and provide input on tool design and manufacturing processes.
