Job summary

Atlas is seeking a lead CNC programmer to collaborate with manufacturing planners and CNC shop personnel to develop reliable CNC processes that meet customer requirements. You will serve as the lead technical advisor, designing NC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling and supporting tooling and setups.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 8+ years of aerospace programming experience using CAD/CAM.
• Experience programming 3- and 4-axis parts.

Responsibilities

• Lead CNC technical advisor for the programming group.
• Design NC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling.
• Validate NC programs with verification software before production.
• Optimize feeds, speeds, and tooling for cost efficiency.
• Maintain master programming files and documentation.
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement.
