Job summary

SkillSource Tech in Montgomeryville, PA is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support multiple CNC milling and turning centers, develop processes for manufacture, and help meet AS-9100 standards.

You will layout and develop programs, select tooling, train operators, troubleshoot, and ensure quality while controlling costs. Full-time onsite role with a focus on precision, continuous improvement, and meeting production schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in 5-axis CNC milling or turning in production metal cutting.
• Master cam programming for CNC Milling and Turning.
• G-code editing using variables and Macro-B.
• Experience with titanium, stainless steel, cobalt chrome, or PEEK.
• Visual inspection with a microscope on small parts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the efficiency of production through machine and process improvement.
• Maintain quality objectives while controlling costs.
• Adhere to and maintain production schedules.
• Develop inspection methods.
• Troubleshoot, help operators to find solutions.
• Layout and develop programs for effective machining.
• Design and determine tooling needed for projects.
• Promote the implementation of verbal and/or written instructions such as blueprints, travelers, work instructions, process specifications, and sketches, in completing a variety of machining and inspection tasks.
• Work efficiently to achieve targeted goals.
• Exercise Good Machining Practices, programming code, tooling, setups, and inspection techniques.
• Train operators to utilize skills needed to maintain quality products.
• Setup and prove out programs before releasing to production.
• Ensure Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role.
