Job summary

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. is seeking a CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating high-speed equipment, auditing process control documents, and enforcing safety and quality policies in a warehouse production environment.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of manufacturing experience, strong reading/writing skills, basic math, and the physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably with high-speed equipment.
• Strong reading and writing skills to follow work orders and produce simple reports.
• Basic math skills.
• Manual dexterity and good eyesight for machine operation and inspection.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Audit/verify process control documents for completion and accuracy.
• Enforce safety and quality policies.
• Coordinate training activities and audit effectiveness.
• Troubleshoot process issues to mitigate downtime.
• Ensure production areas are safe, neat, and organized.
• Coordinate changeover activities and audit for accuracy.
• Support production goals and overtime as needed.
• Monitor equipment using gauges and indicators.
• Record process settings using verification check sheets.
• Inspect product quality visually and dimensionally.
• Identify and address abnormal equipment conditions.
