Job summary

Godshall & Godshall Personnel Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations in the Upstate SC area. The role focuses on safety, quality, productivity, and employee development in a CNC/precision environment.

You will direct production teams, manage schedules, and partner with engineering, quality, and maintenance to resolve issues and improve processes. Strong lean skills and KPI tracking are essential to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of production leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a CNC machining or precision manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of production scheduling, workflow management, and KPI tracking.
• Proven ability to lead teams, motivate employees, and drive performance improvements.
• Experience implementing lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily production operations to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals are achieved.
• Direct and develop production associates while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Monitor workflow, staffing, and production schedules to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Partner with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve production issues and improve processes.
• Track and report departmental KPIs, including productivity, scrap, efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate training efforts and support employee development initiatives.
• Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities throughout the production area.
• Enforce safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
