Job summary

Russ Hadick & Associates partners with an aerospace manufacturer to hire a Manufacturing Supervisor with strong CNC machining experience to lead shop floor operations.

The role oversees daily machining operations, guiding machinists and setup technicians, driving throughput, quality and a collaborative culture. Work closely with engineering, quality and operations to plan production and develop employees through coaching and performance management.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in manufacturing with leadership experience
• 2+ years in a supervisory role
• 5+ years of CNC machining experience
• Experience leading teams of 15+ employees
• Experience with complex or engineered products
• Strong production planning, shop metrics and CI knowledge
• Root cause identification and corrective actions
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Able to work independently in a fast-moving environment
• Associate degree, trade school, or equivalent experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; workforce management systems a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead and support machining teams to meet production and quality goals
• Create a collaborative and accountable work environment
• Coach employees and provide feedback to support development and performance
• Partner with cross-functional teams to address production challenges
• Monitor shop activity and implement process improvements
• Support new product launches and ongoing manufacturing initiatives
