Job summary

Dynomax, a family-owned company, seeks a skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to join the 1st shift maintenance team in Wheeling, IL. You will install, service, and repair CNC machines and related equipment to keep production running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of CNC maintenance experience, strong CNC control proficiency, and solid diagnostic skills, with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of CNC maintenance experience.
• Proficiency with CNC machine controls.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting CNC machine controls and components.
• Experience creating SOPs.
• Mechanical and controls calibration standards and methods.

Responsibilities

• Installation, service, and repairs of CNC machines and industrial equipment.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on production equipment.
• Assist in creating, verifying, and implementing SOPs.
• Move and replace machinery using forklifts and dollies with proper certifications.
• Diagnose faulty electrical and mechanical components.
• Work on spindles, bearing packs, ballscrews, lubrication systems, alignment.
• Use gauges and test instruments to diagnose malfunctions and tools to disassemble/repair components.
• Fabricate, assemble, and test mechanical system parts with hand/power tools.
• Replace fuses, bulbs, breakers, switches following electrical specs.
