Job summary

The Bachrach Group is seeking an experienced Machine Maintenance Technician - Level III for 1st shift in Wheeling, Illinois. This permanent role offers hands-on maintenance of CNC machinery and industrial equipment, with a need for strong diagnostic skills and the ability to support SOP processes.

Ideal candidates have extensive CNC maintenance background, familiarity with spindles, ball screws, lubrication systems, and routine calibration.

Qualifications

• 6 years of CNC maintenance experience.
• Diagnose and identify faulty electrical and mechanical components.
• Assist in creation, verification, and implementation of SOP.
• Move, replace and calibrate machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform CNC machine maintenance and calibration to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose faults using gauges and test instruments and perform repairs.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble system components as needed.

Job Requirements

• 6 years of CNC maintenance
• Installation, service, and repair of CNC machines and other industrial equipment
• Assist in the creation, verification, and implementation of SOP
• Move, replace and calibrate machinery
• Diagnose and identify faulty electrical and mechanical components
• Work at the component level including spindles, bearing packs, ball screws, lubrication systems, and proper alignment
• Use gages and other test instruments to diagnose malfunctions
• Must have the ability to disassemble, repair, and reassemble system components
• Fabricate,assemble, and test mechanical system parts
• Replacefuses, light bulbs, circuit breakers and electric switches
