Job summary

Dynomax, a family-owned company in Wheeling, IL, is seeking a Level III Machine Maintenance Technician to join our 1st shift maintenance team. You will install, service, and repair CNC machines and related equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with SOP creation and process improvements.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of CNC maintenance experience, strong technical skills, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

6+ years of CNC maintenance experience.
Proficient with CNC machine controls and navigation.
Strong troubleshooting of CNC controls and components.
Ability to create SOPs.
Knowledge of calibration standards and methods.
Read and use precision measuring hand tools.

Responsibilities

Install, service, and repair CNC machines and related equipment.
Perform scheduled maintenance on production equipment.
Assist in creating, verifying, and implementing SOPs.
Move and install machinery with forklifts and dollies (certified).
Diagnose faulty electrical and mechanical components.
Work on spindles, bearing packs, ballscrews, lubrication, and alignment.
Use gauges and test instruments to diagnose malfunctions; disassemble/repair components.
Fabricate and test mechanical parts as needed.
Replace fuses, bulbs, circuit breakers, and electrical switches per specs.
