Job summary

Sigma Design, a Pacific Northwest-based product development, engineering, and manufacturing firm, is seeking a CNC Machinist III/Programmer for in-office work. The role focuses on advanced setup, programming, and operation of CNC machinery to meet tight tolerances and blueprints.

You will troubleshoot, optimize processes, and guide teammates. Qualifications center on Mastercam/G&M code programming, CAD/CAM techniques, and GD&T interpretation.

Qualifications

• Creates, modifies, and optimizes CNC programs for parts using Mastercam and G&M code.
• Interprets engineering drawings, 3D models, and GD&T requirements.
• Applies feeds, speeds, tooling, and material knowledge to improve machining performance.

Responsibilities

• Independently sets up, operates, and monitors CNC machines with minimal supervision.
• Performs complex machining, repair, and fabrication using advanced techniques.
• Coaches and mentors other machinists in advanced machining and troubleshooting techniques.
