Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Machinist - Level 4 in the US to ensure efficient, safe, and quality-driven machining operations. You will lead a team of technicians, interpret drawings, and optimize production while collaborating with other departments to meet goals.

You will drive continuous improvement, apply lean principles, and uphold high quality standards across rolling schedules, maintaining equipment and reducing downtime on 1st shift, Mon-Fri 6:00 am–3:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience as a machinist with CNC (manual/auto) lathe and mills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and machining instructions.
• Experience with precision measurement tools and quality control techniques.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a variety of machine tools, including a CNC machine.
• Produce precision parts and components.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations.
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure proper dimensions and tolerances.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines, tools, and equipment to minimize downtime.
