Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a CNC Operator to set up and operate CNC machines for precision aerospace parts. You will interpret blueprints, follow work instructions, and ensure parts meet quality standards while collaborating with the production team to optimize processes.

This role emphasizes safety, documentation, and continuous improvement. You will work on CNC milling and turning, perform inspections with precision instruments, and troubleshoot issues to maintain efficiency and quality in

Qualifications

• Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and manufacturing best practices.
• Experience performing quality inspections using precision measuring instruments and gauges.
• Ability to perform machining operations including milling, drilling, tapping, boring, reaming, and turning.
• Understanding of machine shop safety practices, PPE requirements, and safe operating procedures.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required and work around oils, coolants, and other manufacturing fluids.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC 3-axis milling and turning machines to manufacture precision aerospace components.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
• Perform machining operations including milling, drilling, tapping, boring, reaming, and turning.
• Inspect parts using standard and specialized measuring devices to verify conformance to specifications and quality requirements.
• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues and make necessary machine adjustments.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and basic machine care to maximize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
