Ascentec Engineering, LLC seeks a skilled CNC Lead Machinist for our Tualatin, Oregon facility. You will lead a small team, set up and operate CNC centers (Okuma, Mazak, Fanuc Robodrill, Haas), and inspect parts to GD&T standards.

Daily duties include troubleshooting, scheduling, and mentoring teammates to maximize spindle utilization and quality. The role requires 5+ years in CNC machining, strong leadership, and ability to read blueprints.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience with lead or supervisory duties.
• Ability to interpret drawings, GD&T, and perform basic blue print reading.
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork for shop floor guidance.

Mansioni

• Lead and supervise a 1–5 person team on the day shift.
• Set up, operate and support CNC machine centers per job spec.
• Ensure parts meet quality specs and conduct in-process checks.
• Drive continuous improvement with Kaizen and Lean practices.
