Job summary

Ascentec Engineering in Tualatin, Oregon, is hiring a Lead Machinist for a full-time, on-site role. You will oversee CNC operations (Okuma, Mazak, Fanuc Robodrill, Haas), read blueprints with GD&T, and mentor 1–5 machinists on day shift.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience.
• Experience leading machinist teams (1-5 people).
• Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
• Proficient with Okuma, Mazak, Fanuc Robodrill, Haas.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and support CNC machine centers on day shift.
• Lead and supervise machinists; train and mentor staff.
• Coordinate schedules and ensure on-time production.
• Perform in-process inspections and QC checks.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.
