Ascentec Engineering in Tualatin, Oregon is seeking a Lead Machinist to join our on-site manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will operate and supervise CNC machine centers (Okuma, Mazak, Fanuc Robodrill, Haas), read blueprints, and mentor machinists to meet production goals.

You will lead daily operations, uphold quality standards, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with leadership on process optimization while ensuring safe, efficient work on the day shift.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience with lead or supervisory duties.
• Proficiency in Okuma, Mazak, Fanuc Robodrill, and Haas.
• Strong GD&T and blueprint interpretation skills.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to work on-site in Tualatin, Oregon.

• Lead and supervise a small machinist team on day shift.
• Set up, operate, and support CNC machine centers.
• Interpret drawings and perform GD&T checks.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machines.
