Job summary

Massachusetts Veterans Home (MVH) at Holyoke is seeking an experienced Lead CNA (Nursing Assistant III) to support nursing staff with non-clinical and essential patient care under RN/LPN direction. You will care for adult and elderly veterans with diverse health needs, including dementia and psychiatric conditions.

The role requires supervising other CNAs, participating in training, and maintaining regulatory standards, with full-time hours and rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Two years of full‑time or equivalent experience in hospital/clinical setting.
• Nursing care including bed/bath care, vital signs, ADLs.
• Supervisory exposure or capacity is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides bedside care per care plan and documents outcomes.
• Assists with transfers, positioning and ROM exercises.
• Reports changes in patient condition to RN/LPN.
• Maintains nursing records and participates in interdisciplinary rounds.
• Supports CNA I/II and participates in staff trainings.
