Job summary

The Alden Network seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to support the Director of Nursing Services. You will provide direct resident care and help plan and direct daily nursing operations in accordance with regulations and facility policies.

This role requires current CNA and CPR certifications, strong English communication, leadership, and the ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and staff to maintain high-quality care. On-site duties in Bloomingdale, IL.

Qualifications

• Must have current CNA certification.
• CPR certification required or obtained within two weeks of hire.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families, and staff.
• Must be personable, enthusiastic, and resourceful.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning and directing daily nursing operations.
• Provide direct care to residents as a CNA.
• Develop and implement written care plans for residents.
• Attend care plan conferences and participate in program oversight.
• Supervise CNAs, coach and mentor staff, and participate in hiring discussions.
• Ensure adherence to department policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain documentation and participate in education programs.
