Job summary

MSI-Viking is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer – Inspection Lead to own contract inspection work at our site, including CMM and video measurement programming, dimensional inspection, and reporting.

The ideal candidate has strong PC-DMIS and Calypso experience, a solid understanding of GD&T, and can independently manage inspection projects from programming through final reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CMM and/or video measurement programming experience.
• Hands-on experience with PC-DMIS and/or Calypso.
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles.
• Ability to interpret complex drawings, blueprints, and CAD models.
• Ability to independently manage inspection projects and priorities.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary CMM programmer and inspection resource for the location.
• Create, modify, and execute CMM programs using PC-DMIS and/or Calypso.
• Program and operate video measurement systems.
• Manage contract inspection work from intake through completion.
• Develop inspection programs from CAD models and customer specs.
• Prepare clear inspection reports and documentation.
• Coordinate priorities and workflow for incoming inspection projects.
• Support continuous improvement of programming and inspection methods.
