Job summary

MSI Viking is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to support dimensional inspection and measurement activities. You will develop and execute CMM programs using Calypso and/or PC-DMIS, and operate video measurement systems.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of programming experience, strong GD&T knowledge, and the ability to interpret complex CAD drawings. You will collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve measurement issues and ensure accurate reports.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CMM/VM programming using PC-DMIS and/or Calypso.
• Strong GD&T knowledge for inspections and programming.
• Ability to interpret complex drawings and CAD models.
• Experience with ISO/IEC 17025 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and execute CMM programs using Calypso and/or PC-DMIS.
• Develop inspection programs from CAD models, engineering drawings, and customer specifications
• Operate CMM and Video Measurement Systems.
• Perform precision dimensional inspections and analyze measurement results

MSI Viking is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer with strong PC-DMIS and/or Calypso experience to support dimensional inspection and measurement activities. This role is responsible for developing and executing CMM programs, Video Measurement systems, interpreting complex drawings and CAD models, troubleshooting measurement issues, and ensuring accurate, reliable inspection results.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong, and comfortable working independently while also supporting customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and execute CMM programs using Calypso and/or PC-DMIS
• Develop inspection programs from CAD models, engineering drawings, and customer specifications
• Operate CMM and Video Measurement Systems.
• Perform precision dimensional inspections and analyze measurement results
• Apply GD&T principles to inspection and programming activities
• Conduct measurement system analysis and provide technical guidance as needed
• Document inspection results and prepare clear, accurate reports
• Work with customers and internal teams to resolve measurement and quality concerns
• Support quality and inspection activities in accordance with applicable procedures

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 3 years of CMM/VM programming experience using PC-DMIS and/or Calypso
• Strong understanding of GD&T
• Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and CAD models
• Experience with quality assurance and inspection processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate degree in engineering technology or a related field preferred
