Job summary

A V Gauge & Fixture South, LLC. is seeking an experienced CMM Operator to manage day-to-day operation of the Coordinate Measuring Machine, ensuring high-quality products meet customer deadlines.

You will program the CMM, run inspections, and prepare detailed reports while maintaining a clean, organized work area. Ideal candidates have experience with P/CMM equipment, GD&T reading skills, proficiency in MS Word/Excel, and familiarity with Renishaw Modus, Camio, Polyworks, and Nikon Metrology

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a P/CMM equipment
• Experience operating Milling machine, Surface grinder, Drill press, Hand tools and Precision instruments
• Ability to read a blue print and GD&T interpretations
• Ability to use MS Word & Excel computer applications
• Strong organizational and workload planning skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Knowledge/experience in Renishaw Modus/ Camio, Polyworks, Nikon Metrology Software is a definite asset

Responsibilities

• Program the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to effectively measure different products
• Ensure the product passes certification test or process inspection
• Prepare reports to describe studies and prepare documents and layouts
• Keep the equipment and the work station clean at all times for most accurate results
• Perform project work, while adhering to deadlines, as required
• Other related duties as assigned
